Who knows of a way to make your own bookmark list from someone else’s without opening each cache page? WGA State Park list for one.
I don’t think you can do this directly, but you can do it via GSAK (or other tools that can manipulate a GPX file).
Steps:
1) Open the bookmark list and use the “Create Pocket Query” option. This will build a PQ based on the bookmark list.
2) Run the PQ and download the results
3) Import the results into a new database within GSAK (or equivalent).
4) Use the “Add to Bookmark” option to add these caches to a bookmark list that belongs to you.
Will that send it back to GC.com or just keep one for me in GSAK? Thanks CJ
It sends it back to a bookmark list on GC.com. You have to use an existing (or create one) bookmark list on GC.com.
Thank you CJ, I appreciate the help. My fingers get tired doing it the hard way! hehehehe
That worked perfectly CJ. Thanks for the lesson.
