Were heading up to Boulder Junction for the weekend, any must do’s in the area?
I’d love to hear some recommendations as well. I’m going to be in the general area as well (well, Phillips, but I’m willing to drive to a good cache), and there’s some nice shopping in Boulder Junction…..

It’s a bit out of the way – but the Highway 45 Wayside Series is a great cache series… lot’s of fun…

I noticed a bunch of new caches in the area since our last visit. We had visited caches placed by upnorthdoc and by Team Grouse Tales and feel you can’t go wrong with these.
MUSTS:
1) wear boots and blaze orange
2) take along maps with good detail [logging raods]
3) take a vehicle with a lot of ground clearance

The Beast is right, you can’t go wrong with some of upnorthdoc’s caches. Most involve driving series of fire lanes to get near the cache. If you have a high clearance vehicle you’ll have a great time. I truely enjoyed every one of his caches. His caches are located in prestine, remote areas.
Another one of my favorites near Bolder Jct is The Old Homestead Along Stevenson Creek. You might enjoy my Big Arb Ruins cache. It’s about 2 miles east of Hwy 51, just off of Hwy 70/east. It’s a nice scenic hike with lots of Bald Eagles and a few beavers in the area. Have You Seen my Canoe is located on Canoe lake off of Hwy K, about 5 miles east of Boulder. Hwy K is a Scenic Roadway, and is fun to drive . The cache is just a pill bottle, and not to hard to find, but the scenery is beautiful and it’s a quicky.
