    Background:

Born and raised in Southeastern Wisconsin.

College Degree: Associate Of Applied Science – Computer Science (MATC)

College Degree: Bachelor Of Science – Electrical Engineering Technology (MSOE)

Employed as an Electrical Engineer in New Berlin, WI.

Married with children (ages 2 and 5).

    Geocaching History:

Started Geocaching back in July of 2001.

Found out about Geocaching through a Milwaukee Sentinel article.

First Geocache attempted: Vernon Marsh by Jeremy V.(Now Archived).

First Geocache completed: Alyssa’s Cache by Jon and CJ (Also Archived).

    Geocaches found: About 275.

Contributions to local Geocaching activities to date:

12 geocaches placed and maintained in S.E. Wisconsin.

Two Geocaches voted “WGA – Cache Of The Month”.

Talked with the head of New Berlin Parks & Recreation about Geocaching.
His response: “I don’t see any problems with that, go ahead”.

Contributed to the idea for the “Mothership / Satellites” system for the WGA events.

Suggested an improvement to the WGA website (which was implemented).

Replaced a missing micro-cache for an out-of-town geocacher.

Helped a fellow geocacher replace one of his caches that went missing (I had a boat).

Found a geocache that was plundered and scattered throughout the woods.
Picked up all of the pieces and returned it to its owner.

Found a geocache that had been moved from its original location and returned it to its owner.

    Things I like about Geocaching:

An opportunity to get outside and go to places I NEVER would have gone to otherwise.

Meeting fellow geocachers while out hunting for a cache.

Reading that “First Log” for a new Geocache that I have placed.

Cool electronic gadgets (GPSr, PDA, FRS radios, etc..).
