Hello Wisconsin Geocachers!
As an incumbant of the WGA Board of Directors, I have enjoyed being involved in many great projects over the past two years. I have helped in the planning and running of six major events, the minting, sale and delivery of two WGA geocoins and several WGA pathtags, administration of the Cache of the Month program, creating brochures with information about the WGA for both the general public and law enforcement, as well as dozens of other projects. Oh, and I also feed the squirrel. :heidy:
As much as the current board has done to promote the WGA, there is much more that can be done. Geocaching has changed a lot in the past few years. While the WGA has done a lot to keep up with the changes, we haven’t entirely kept up. I’m not exactly sure what we need to do, but that is one thing that I would like to work on if re-elected.
I would also like to make the resources of the WGA more available to the general membership. The logistics of this would be difficult to overcome (travel expenses, time, etc.), but I think this would be worth looking into.
As I mentioned in my introduction two years ago, I also open doors for ladies and stop for people in crosswalks. And, look forward to Buy_The_Tie opening a puppies and kittens thread.
