I am currently a sitting member of the WGA Board of Directors. I am running once again because I feel that I have made contributions to the organization, but I don’t feel like I am done. I would like another opportunity to see what I can accomplish and see some of my projects that have been started through to completion.
Personally, I am one half of an 9 year caching couple. My wife Aimee and I have found Geocaching a great addition to our vacations. We have seen many places that we probably wouldn’t have visited without this great sport. We will almost never take the same route twice, just to make sure we find new caching adventures.
I’m not terribly big into social media, but if anyone looks for me on Facebook, I’m probaby the only Brian Zubowski you will find, and yes my profile picture is a squirrel. Feel free to ask me anything, I will answer everything honestly.
Outside of geocaching, I’m an electo-mechanical technician at a large factory where I deal with troubleshooting and repair of machinery. I am into coin collecting when the wife and budget allow. I like to be outside whenever possible, even when I’m not geocaching. Camping, fishing and just hanging around a campfire are just fine by me. Packers football, and Michigan State sports are about the only thing that will put me in front of the TV, but I’ll put on The Simpsons for background noise. Cooking is a passion of mine, and I will try almost anything once. I also like to get others to try new things when I cook. This has led me to my newest endeavor of home brewing.
