It’s really not that big of a deal I guess, But I was pretty proud of myself to have broken my daily find record of 47 by going solo in Eau Claire the other day and hit 50 caches before my GPS died and I had to go home. Having been to Eau Claire twice before, only do dabble in the caching scene, I was really impressed with diving in with both feet and seeing what the town had to offer. I saw some magnificent scenery and enjoyed alot of taken care of caches. And I think there was only 1 micro the whole day 🙂
I started in Lowe’s Creek and scoured the park there (except for the night one) and then went north and West, then cut across the north end of town along the river mostly where the bike trails are. That was some great biking! Like I said, I was really impressed with the place 🙂
So thanks to Zuma, OneSearching2Find, kent1915, Wi_Robin, bnb, J+j, and so many more for the great day! Thanks for the effort you guys have put in. You’ve got a nice back yard full of caches there 🙂

Now, for your 100/day, I suggest …. Appleton!

I see ya hit all the ones out at Lowes Creek, and I am glad ya did, because that is an awesome place for a nice walk or bike ride while getting a bunch of caches….Sorry I wasnt able to connect up with ya, but I was working nights the day you came over, and I gots to sleep when I am working nights.

Yes, I’ve had appleton on my radar for quite a while. I guess the puzzle caches have been scaring me off. Those are not my strength 🙂
So many caches, so little time. One of these days I’ll get over there. I’m already looking for winter friendly caches. I’m not trudging miles through thigh deep snow again this year. I think Appleton might be a good place for that.

Opting for brains over brawn? We can always hope that there will be less snow this winter so us mere mortals can have some SUCCESS in Appleton! 😉
