I know there are both Geocaching groups in IL and WI, but, Im bummed that we are ‘mandatory’ for the IL group, since we mostly cache in WI and with the WI people….

    I feel so neglected. LOL

Seriously though – can someone participate when they ALMOST live there? We are LITERALLY a stones throw from WI, and know mostly WI cachers – We have hardly hit IL caches yet…

I enjoy this group of people… not that I dislike the IL crowd, but after you do so many caches, and meet so many people in an area, you tend to want to participate in events for that area. I hardly know any IL folks!

    This OK? 😉

LOL And at least see that we’re too honest to B.S. about our address…

And as a politically correct addition to my prior post – the IL folks we HAVE met are lovely people – we just always seem to head north for everything. (Our son was born there, isn’t there some rule that makes us Wisconsin-ites?)

    😀

Maybe there was a mixup when they surveyed and chartered the State of Illinois, and you are actually in Wisconsin. Yeah, let’s go with that. We should therefore allow you on our side of the Cheddar Curtain.

Um…. WI needed a spy? And they sent us? Yep! Thats it!

See? We just put our second cache up there… we have several more to plant – but need a sizable area to do so.

But theres one more for now – and a cute idea! I love taking those backroads and looking for deer. 🙂

I can’t speak for everyone else … but I’ll let you in .. but only if you promise to find all of my caches (centered on 53074) within the next year 😆

    #1765734

I’d be happy to try! LOL A year? Hmmm…. well, at the rate Im going – I may run out of local ones soon…. Sounds fair!

Now to tell Hubby we are driving to 53074 on a regular basis.

You’ll also have to find a cheese factory that has 8yr. old or older chedder cheese for sale. You have 1 month.

Um.. Sams Club! They sell Vermont 9 month old aged white cheddar! LMAO You werent SPECIFIC that it had to be WISCONSIN Cheese!

    😛

And, yeah, the Vermont Cheddar is pretty darn good.

If it has to be WI cheese, Ill just head to the Cheese Castle! Im sure they have some!

Sorry I should of been more specific.

As long as you know, your good to go.
    Welcome.
