I sent a message to Ed Hall who does Buxley’s Geocache Maps. I requested that the southern border of the Milwaukee area map be moved a little farther south, possibly far enough to touch the Chicago area map. I just placed a cache over the border in IL, and if you look at the map, it won’t show up in either expanded view.
Hopefully this will make a few of the border caches more visible.
I see what you mean, there is a no-man’s land between the two expanded areas…
Be interesting to see what he replies. I’ve heard from a few folks that he is easy to work with. Good luck!
Thanks for planting a cache in that area, it is very sparse. Looks like fun!
I got a reply back from him thanking me for the suggestion, and saying that he would make the change.
When? I don’t know, but it’s nice to see that he’s open to little optimizations like this.
