I’m currently writing a program to provide statistics based on the “My Finds” pocket query. I had planned to put in a few more features before I announced it, but this seems like a good time to let people know about it, so I put out a beta verison tonight. You can learn about it and download here: http://www.logicweave.com/cachestats.html
It’s currently a desktop application, but I hope to also offer similar capabilities via a web page in which case people could opt to publish their stats to the website, similar to keenpeople.com. Try it out and let me know what you think – you can send me suggestions using the email address on the lower left of the CacheStats page. Definitely let me know if there is anything that you find confusing or if you run into any problems. As far as features, one thing I plan on adding is some form of output so people can brag to the world if they want.
Note you will need the .Net Framework installed. I don’t have good data on what percentage of computers already have it installed, but I suspect it will be a problem for some people especially if they haven’t been keeping up with service packs.
Doug – are you aware your program that runs Net Framework also requires you to be running Internet Explorer? Some of us do not use that browser, so ……
And…. It looks like you will need to download My Caches PQ into the system to get the stats. My e-mail does not allow .zip files, so I am not able to obtain that query. Makes it awkward.
The example of your stats page looks great!!

Well (not sure if someone else around suggest this or not but here it goes) You could do something like Keenpeople.com did, you don’t have to get the information from GC.com you could just have people enter in their own numbers..and then you could see where you are at that way
