Someone wants us to adopt her cache but she does not know what to do to transfer it. Can anyone give a step-by step that we can send her? Thanks. TE
1. She needs to go to “http://www.geocaching.com/adopt” first.
2. On the page that comes up, enter the GC code of the cache she wants to adopt out to you.
3. Click “Lookup”
4. Next page: Type in “Timberline Echoes” for the username to send the request to.
5. Click on “Send Adoption Request”
Email is sent to you (TE) asking if you want to adopt this cache. I think you just have to click “yes” or whatever, and the deed is done.
