What: The 2010 Puzzle Bus Tour of the Kingdom of Selzzup

    When: 20 March 2010.

    Where: Appleton area in general.

Why: A big push to clean out lots of puzzles in the area.

    Who: 8-10 intrepid cachers.

Will have a mini bus available that day, so there will be room for up to ten cachers. Several places have already been spoken for, so act now…..

Send me a note by e-mail for a reservation, cache details, etc.

    When: 9 March 2010, a Tuesday

What: Let’s Eat Pizza in Madison event (GC22Y60)

Cache on the way down to Madison, and around town some before the event.

The event runs from 5:30 to 8:30PM. So it will be a late return.

Where: Shawano area – ‘walking on frozen water’ caches

Three main caches – Shawano, Bonduel and Hortonville. All island caches.

    When: Wednesday, February 17th.

Approximately 8 AM to 3 PM

Reposting this one, since the snow storm interfered last time.

A favor to ask on this one…

These caches were hidden to be easy to find but hard to get to so they aren’t hidden very well by design. Well, actually they aren’t “hidden” at all. And the # of visitors this winter has far exceeded our expectations.

So, particularly if the group is large, extra discretion would be appreciated to protect the hides.

Also…don’t drive on White Lake for GC1W0TG!

Hmm to go or not to go. I may be able to but it all depends on when I can get home for spring break. I’ll find out soon.

Busy day. Isn’t that when your Selzzup | Puzzles event is? Or is this a hint to solve the puzzle on the cache page?

Hmmm. Nope, two events in one day. No hints needed for the puzzle on the Puzzle Event. At least I hope not ……..

So Marc, how many DNF’s in the Appleton area before you decided to move on with your Puzzle Tour Saturday, curious minds want to know.

And SS, don’t fret too much, I have a feeling your caches will be reappearing soon. 😉

I actually hope they do reappear soon. I have a bunch of puzzle caches on the “Solved” pile that need to be found. It appears winter has been hard on caches because I’ve talked with many CO’s (not just S|S) who have had a number of them disappear. It’s definately frustrating for both us searchers and the CO’s.

I was hoping to go on the tour as well, but I got a unique opportunity to be “Dad” based on my wife having to work. No offense against the tour group, but I had an awesome time with my daughter Saturday morning spending some very precious 1 on 1 time with her.

Well, that explains why your… I mean his caches have been going missing. Glad I spent the time to respond to the geocide threat…
