Do you have the LONG hikes marked somewhere for us crippled people? I think I’ll take the cane as well as the walker, but I don’t know how I’ll do on long hikes. 😥

Yes, there are some LONG (but beautiful) hikes. 😈

They won’t be specifically marked that way in the programs. Just the basic Terrain/Difficulty will be noted. If you have time to read the cache pages beforehand, it would probably be there (at least on mine). Otherwise, come find me Friday night (I’ll be in or around the Courthouse all evening) or Saturday morning at Regner (I’ll be at the creative cache turn-in station), and I’ll let you know which ones are the LONG ones.

Thanks! You won’t be able to miss me. I’ll be the one with extra hardware.

So much left to do! So little time! I’m soooo excited to attend our first geo-event. See everyone there!

      Got a camper pete?

Just wanted to thank all those involved. It gave me a reason to get hold of my nephews for the day. Not an easy task since their parents got divorced.

Tons of caches I didn’t find, but with West Bend so close, I’ll be sure to go back and finish up one of these days.

      THANKS EVERYONE! 😀

Thanks everyone for a fantastic event, had a wonderful time!!!

      #1910088

ditto on the congrats! This was a great event and seemed very well-organized to me.

I was amazed that my wife expressed interest in attending next years event! She has generally lost interest in caching.

I have a friend who attended high school with the mayor of West Bend. We corresponded before and during the event. She even forwarded one of my e-mails to someone else from the chamber of commerce. Hopefully I did my part to encourage West Bend to continue to give such great support to geocaching (and I can come back to a great caching area).

From what I could tell fun was had, kilts were worn 😉
Thank you and great job to all those who donated most of their weekend so that we could frolic in the bushes.

You weren’t watching me frolic, were you LB7?

My wife wondered what was up with that kilt jeremy… I couldn’t tell her as I don’t know the history.

Now back on topic, THANK YOU to everyone who helped place all those caches and organize all the great family friendly activities!!! Our family had a lot of fun and half of that family “hates geocaching”. That is a sign of a very well-run event. When there are enough activities to keep the whole family occupied.

Can’t wait for the next one…

Ha, nope, just reclined the front seat and tried to get some shuteye.
didn’t do too bad but I don’t recommend it 😯

Darn, I wish I remembered that you were camping at Wally World! We were in the immediate area until about 1AM, and the horn on the Suburban is quite loud….
