My puzzles. I won’t get into interpreting the rules, but I checked with the reviewers before starting this series and got the OK. So I guess my answer is that if you don’t know for sure contact the reviewers. I still do when I need a clarification and have almost 300 hides.

Please don’t get the impression that I was complaining / whining / etc. I was only throwing out a couple examples and saying there may be different “rules” for puzzles vs. multis.

I’ve also been involved with a couple of instances where the CO posted known bogus coordinates for traditionals / puzzle finals and placed things within 100′ of other caches. The reviewers have no way to know the final isn’t where the CO said it was. These are always interesting to sort out.

Definatly good advice to contact the reviewers which I’ve done numerous times as well. They’re the “reviewers” so at the time of submission they have to either approve / reject.

CJ I wasn’t complaining. I was just stressing the point of contacting the reviewer to save time. WisKid even had to check on my series since you normally can’t create caches and challenges that only promote your own hides. I really don’t even know how it was decided that mine would be OK.
After a year of this series those who looked for it are sorry it is almost complete and want me to keep going. I’m working on a deserving final right now that hopefully will be a 5/5.

BTW there were 40 caches that you needed to find or re-visit to complete the series over the couse of one year.

I have a number of these on my “Solved/Unfound” bookmark list. I’ve found them to be pretty interesting and don’t really see a problem with this arrangement because A) They’re puzzles B) You’re the owner of both.

I have a vastly different opinion of the multi in Appleton that uses another cachers cache as a WP for their own multi. In fact I have a hunch that it’s probably not listed this way with the behind the scenes WP’s on the cache listing.

I’m going to be interested to see if out of town caches come to do our series as soon as the final is out. It would be a real challenge to complete in one day. There is a 9 part series and a 7 part series within it. This highlights tha caches we like best and have had the most favorable logs on. One COTM winner and a few more nominees in it too. Very few micros in the 40 caches.

Final or not – I’m planning a trip that way and a number of yours are “in the sights”. 50+ caches on my “Solved / Unfound” pile from south of the airport to West Bend and from the lakeshore to 1/2 way to Madison. No way I can do it in a day and considering they’re all puzzles solves I’ll probably be going it alone because I don’t feel right about “tagalongs” or sharing my puzzle solves.
