I posted a trip report for cache hiding day on the page for the campout.

Included are a few ‘action’ photos.

We were all quite pleased with the caches that were placed for the campout! There are going to be plenty for everyone. There area easier ones as well as the more “evil/tricky” ones to keep everyone interested. Sounds like the night caches will also be a blast.

This park has beautiful areas around every corner…and we will be lucky enough to explore much of the park for our finds as we took care in making sure that all of the park was used.

I am looking forward to seeing everyone SOON!!!!

Thanks to everyone who helped place caches!

I want to thank the volunteers that came up to help place caches for the campout. Hiders came from, Sussex, Pewaukee, Madison Co, Milwaukee, and Baraboo. We had a heck of a drive, but a great time in the park!

Lots of creative caches were placed. It’s going to be a great campout!

For those who found “high point hideout”, was it still stuck to the bottom of the bench? I read a log that someone found parts of laying in the field. It was magnetically attached to a screw on the bottom of the bench.

I’m curious if it was plundered before the campout, or during the caching event.

We found it on the bench… Right where it should have been…

it was on the ground when we found it

We found it about 2:30 or 2:45 on Saturday. It was still attached under the bench at that time.

We picked it up on Sunday morning along with all the other caches in the area. It was where you described it.

I was one of the logs that mentioned we found a part of it on the ground some distance away from the bench. After finding the rest (which was under the bench), we did put it back together and placed it back in the appropiate spot. However, the stamper was missing.Ecorangers put the star stickers inside in lieu of the stamper.
Did the stamper ever turn up?
