this is kind of an offshoot of the “rules” thread but…..
since the archived caches on the rescue list do not show up on any queries or maps like active/disabled caches do, would there be a way to compile a map similar to the LCG map or add the Cache Rescue caches to the LCG map (maybe a black marker)?
as stated in the other thread, there may be rescue caches nearby but if you don’t know approximately where they are, planning the rescues would be difficult.

There is a reason why the location is listed on the cache rescue list. I could throw together a map, but it wouldn’t be dynamic, that is, it wouldn’t indicate additions or deletions until the next version was run.
I agree, it would be nice if it were possible to link these missions to the LCG map itself. Could this be done, even if it had to be done manually? There aren’t actually very many rescues left at the moment due to a flurry of community activity on these.
I do keep a personal bookmark list of these, but it’s not useful as a public tool because it’s not dynamic as DJ says–in other words, everything on it is “archived” so unless I remember to manually remove a cache it’s not current. I suppose I could endeavor to keep it current if there is a need for it but it would be nicer to link it to the actual LCG map.
