is there a way to sort pq’s into cachemate by direction? i have 400 caches in the pq and scrolling them takes a bit of time. i thought if there was a way to organize them it would make going paperless easier.
Reading your question reminds me of another similar topic discussed.
It comes down to – How many caches can you do in one day? Load that many into your palm.
Actually, I have about 1200 in mine. It has not bothered me yet. Try using the scribble pad (name?) to write in the first letter.

Go to the page on your PDA for the starting cache. (Info) Tap on the word “CacheMate” in the upper left corner to get a drop down menu. Select “Nearest Caches” from that menu. If you click “ok” here, it will sort from the location of the cache you started from. Then you’ll get a new screen with Search Filters on it, and you can choose the directions from there by un-checking the boxes you don’t want. Click “ok” then it will do a distance computation, then it will do computation applying your filters and give you a list. Choose the cache from the list and click “go to”. To get back to this list, click “done” with that cache, go back to the original cache and apply the same filters, and it won’t go thru the recomputation process, and will just pop the list back up again. I haven’t found another way to get back to that list yet…. If someone else knows, I’d love to learn!
