There are others I have cached with, but did not keep dates and numbers.

These numbers do not include any of the repeats I have done with them. Some caches have I have to 3-4 times, visiting with other cachers.

My ‘friends’ puzzle. Well, it could be considered as such, they they are all listed there. Was not intended as a hint.

The only times we have cached with others was with my 90-year-old aunt and uncle (found two caches), and with a niece and her 2 daughters (3 years for one, 3 months for the other). Found two caches on that one too, and we were lucky enough to get those, when there was so much playground equipment in sight to tempt the 3-yr-old.

Guess we’re caching companions to the very old and the very young!

We’re relatively new to this. I basically got into it as a way for my oldest son and I to spend some time together, hoping that it will bring us closer. My wife and our youngest son jonied us for one event thing in West Bend a few weeks back, but when she took a digger stepping on some uneven terrain, I think she’ll be happy to stay home with the little guy while our oldest and I do the caching thing. She’s not too “outdoorsy”.

Those are good ages. My Dad is 90 also.

And my cousin has a 3 year old and a 3 month old with whom I have gone caching. The playground is the incentive for the little ones to go caching – find the cache, get to play.

As long as we’re talking about who we’ve cached with, I guess I’ll put the word out: if there is anyone out there who’s looking to cache with someone, and doesn’t mind hanging out with a “noob” and his 9 year old son for a few hours, feel free to PM me and maybe we can set something up. I certainly have no problem with meeting new people. In fact, I’d really look forward to it. You can never have enough friends, ya know??

Seriously, I have cached with a few others.

The first “other cacher” I met was Sagasu. He taught me the finer art of caching with paper and going by current coordinates alone.

The 2nd was seldom|seen and our caching relationship is of the hiding variety as opposed to the finding though we have found a few and I fell through the ice on black otter lake while looking for one with him once.

I ran into marc54140 and k0rpl in a cemetery once and did a string of caches with them. I can’t keep up with them.

I saw Team Hemi at a walmart once.

Mostly, I am all alone or with my son. Occasionally my wife and daughters (cheetah girls) find one with me.

I too enjoy the events that bring everyone together to meet and exchange stories.
