I just thought of this and it’s probably too late for my purposes, but it still might be a good resource. Tomorrow I’m working with the Mississippi Valley Conservancy on a day camp for kids from the Y. They will be rotating through stations and one is geocaching. It’s been our experience that it’s better to hide temporary caches for such things, rather than use existing ones as models (there are several of those at this site).

It would be cool if there were a template that looks like a gc cache page when printed up for all the cache info. That way, they are getting a little taste of the Big Show. Is there such a thing? If not, maybe one of the computer whizes looking for something to while away the heat could make one for the information center here. Thank you for your consideration.

You can create an actual GC cache page and not publish it. It will have the “not reviewed” message on it, but you might be able to work around that.
You can even re-use the page for an actual cache later on.

Yeah, what TBC said. We’ve done that a couple times for new groups.

That sounds like fun! Next year I may take over the summer camp for our Y and geocaching will definately be on the agenda. Have a good time tomorrow!
