For those coming to the campout with campers/pop-ups typically the reserved group sites are tents only. Not sure about the space at Bong as this will be my first time camping there. I just booked site #140 for my family’s stay. There are other std. electric sites available near this one if your interested in camping near another cacher (me). Necessities are all close by. 😀 Can’t wait!!

Good question Shane. The group campsites at Bong are for tents only. They would not be large enough to accommodate travel trailers and RVs. For those with trailers, I’d recommend getting spots in the Sunrise family campground to be close to the WGA group sites and the picnic shelter. Sunrise sites 1-30 are actually right behind the group campsites. The other Sunrise sites should be within reasonable walking distance.

I have got a pop-up too and am waiting for schedules before committing to reservations. I will probably be near Cheeto though.

As you reserve campsites, please remember that the campsites closest to the group camp and event HQ are those numbered 237 or less. Campsites numbered 300-499 are in the Sunset campground, which is more than 3 miles from everything else. (Yes, this is a very big place.) Of course, it is ok if you prefer to stay away from the group. Just be aware of the distance.
