    I’m going to be camping at Roche-A-Cri State Park on Memorial Day weekend.
    And if anyone wants to go caching with me, or come to my campsite and sit around the fire, You’re more then welcome too, just give me some forewarning. Can email me, or just reply here!

    Coastie Girl,

    Enjoy the park! We all did heck of a job on cleaning it a few weeks ago, making it ready to go for the season! We’ll be in Eau Claire so we can’t join you, but we’ll be there in spirit! It’s one of our favorites!

    If you are going to be the central WI area Memorial Day weekend, you should consider taking Lil Otter up on her offer to hike to the Lone Rock cache (see the cache page for details). While this cache is not as tough as The Gauntlet, it is a nice long hike and climb up a “big rock in the middle of nowhere” that gives you a 360 degree view of the area.

    I had thought about coming up for the hike/CITO to Lone Rock, but because of the WGA server switchover I can’t make it (maybe I could if it were on Monday…).

    We’re joining Marc and the Astro-Ds in Eau Claire that weekend, or we’d jump at the chance to return to Lone Rock. Maybe if a good handful visit, this one will make COTM finally. We visited after the tornado had been through, but the views are still spectacular. Have fun Coastie, there are a lot of fine caches over there.

    well never mind, i changed my mind, and decide to go home instead to pick up my motorcycle.. i’ll get those caches in july when a the Gauntlet Go-getters go for the weekend.. (BunnyFuFu name of us not mine though i do like it!)
