I want to thank the following folks for volunteering to serve on the WGA Campout Committee this year, in addition to the 9 Board members:
Hotdogs off Trail (Jeff Little)
Seldom Seen (Alex Schultz)
Cheeto (Shane Heule)
Labrat (Peter Quella)The Campout Committee forum has had its membership list updated so all 4 of you can now join the planning process for the campout, already in progress. There is still much to do, and we appreciate your offer to help.

04/03/2009 at 5:04 am #1904871Thanks Ralph, been waiting a long time to get this notice as you know. I’ll be checking in very soon. Great to see some of the other names on the committee too!
04/03/2009 at 1:06 pm #1904872Funny, I received a email that i had rights to the campout committee forum but I’m not on the list… nor can I get to the forum.

Yeah i would’ve shot it all to hell 😈
04/03/2009 at 8:06 pm #1904875Yeah, but with Seldom Seen involved…we will be lucky if all the temps aren’t 40 stage multi-puzzle-offset-series caches about obscure Finnish immigrants from the 1750’s that require a slide rule and a stud finder.
We could have used some more people like you to keep some easy ones in there for us simpletons…
wait a tick…
RSpalsh40 is involved in the Gypsies at the Gates series….Never mind, you make my brain hurt too!

MUAHHAHAHAHAH THAT WAS AWESOME! Sorry s|s, it was.
04/03/2009 at 10:51 pm #1904877I did not have the time to devote to volunteer for the committee but I would like to reiterate that I should have enough time to volunteer to help hide caches for the event. It depends on what weekend you are looking at doing the temp hides but if you let me know, I can see if I am available or not.

Hi Don,
The planned temp hiding date is Sunday, May 3rd. You can coordinate hiding temps with Justin, who is heading up the temp hiding.

Rats! That’s the one weekend I was afraid of as I will be in Iowa. Well, I will talk with Justin anyway and see if we can work something out.

You’ll find that my temps are not so much difficult as they are entertaining. you just have to LOOK UP, right Pete? I will bring a couple along, but I intend to focus on the perms and let the rest of you deal with the temps. That and one or 2 nightcaches, and I have my hands full…
