I was on the board for a short time and actually suppose to be a elected member but for reasons I decided to step down. I was replaced by a very worthy member who will do a awesome job. I learned a lot in the short time I served as BOD member. I learned everyone is watching what you do and how you do it. I have learned that you can’t be one person in front of members and somebody else behind the scenes. I took my role seriously just like it was a very high role instead of for a small group of people who trust in you to make important decisions that is suppose to be the best for the WGA. I felt you should lead your WGA life which was very time consuming and your personal life in the same regard as everyone was watching and should lead a very good example. If you are elected to the board as officer,  can you lead the WGA into the future with high respect in front of the members and behind the scenes as you would in your everyday life as there are eyes watching making sure you are doing a very good job.

All opinions, comments, and useless drivel I post are mine alone and do not reflect the opinions of the WGA BOD.

Being on the board for two years, I have never let my personal life affect the decisions I have made as an officer or as a board member at large for the WGA.

I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

I already conduct myself with professionalism, maturity, and dignity.  I don’t see any problems moving forward if I am a board member.

The views expressed here are that of myself only and do not necessarily represent that of the WGA board.

As a public school teacher for the past 19 years and a volunteer with the Boy Scouts of America for the past 25 years, I am accustomed to life in the fish bowl. I’m fully aware of the need to follow the same code of conduct in public as in private.

All opinions, comments, and useless drivel I post are mine alone and do not reflect the opinions of the WGA BOD.

I have been on the board for the last two years and have never had an issue with “eyes watching” all I do. I do not believe there have been any issues with how I conduct myself, (even if I do dress up as a t-rex from time to time!!)
