I invite the candidates to reply to the following question below.
If you were a color, what color would you be, and why?

Team GeoPink

02/01/2006 at 5:21 am #1761784I would be the color green. It occurs in nature, goes well with just about every other color, and put you in the mind of cool, fresh and new things!!

Depends….
If I’m with Jeff R. my favorite color is PINK
My first new vehicle purchase was bright RED.
I currently drive a very shiny PURPLE vehicle.
When I’m at the bank, I like GREEN.
I really don’t have a favorite color, sorry.
02/02/2006 at 2:13 am #1761786I went to this website and got my answer.. http://web.tickle.com/color/
Bill, your true color is Brown!
You’re brown, a credible, stable color that’s reminiscent of fine wood, rich leather, and wistful melancholy. Most likely, you’re a logical, practical person ruled more by your head than your heart. With your inquisitive mind and insatiable curiosity, you’re probably a great problem solver. And you always gather all of the facts before coming to a timely, informed decision. Easily intrigued, you’re constantly finding new ways to challenge your mind, whether it’s by reading the newspaper, playing a trivia game, or composing a piece of music. Brown is an impartial, neutral color, which means you tend to see the difference between fact and opinion easily and are open to many points of view. Trustworthy and steady, you really are a brown at heart.
That really sums it up.. Pretty accurately too!!!

02/02/2006 at 2:38 am #1761787That is easy….it would have to be black!
It’s practical. Goes with everything, blends in, disguises the little flaws, doesn’t show the dirt as much, and heck, I look good in it.
02/02/2006 at 4:14 am #1761788Camouflage….(or clamouflage for those of you that hunted our cache at Hartman Creek) We, as geocachers, should do our best to blend in with the environment. We should practice and encourage all new-comers to practice Cache-in/Trash-out. When we search for a goecache, we should not make new trails, cause damage to hillsides or fragile plants…….strive to leave every area in better condition than we found it.
02/02/2006 at 5:20 am #1761789I LOVE color so picking one is difficult. I have always thought of myself as a RED person, which sounds so aggressive. After checking out that site Bill posted and knowing I chose some passive, less aggressive and more calming answers, I still came out RED. So… RED it is.
I have fire when it’s needed, passion for things I believe in, excitement in new and unusual thing to learn and teach. I am not afraid of people yet I place myself in solitude though out in the open, when my world gets frazzled. Nothing better than a 5 mile walk to think things through, before I speak. I’m accepting and learn from constructive criticism, but EXPECT those who GIVE IT, be able to TAKE IT back!!
RED…the color which represents Fire and Desire yet the color which represents Love. Not love for oneself but for all creatures who willingly accept it unselfishly.
{Ask my Dog…. He’ll tell ya about that last part. He gets my fire a lot yet accepts me for who I am and what I give him LOL}
02/02/2006 at 12:51 pm #1761790Just a little FYI: I just did the little quiz posted by Flushinggrouse and here is what it came up with: (OIY! How true….)
Your color is black. The color of night. Serene and mysterious, black conjures up images of elegant evening gowns, dashing tuxedos, and gleaming limousines. Traditionally a symbol of success, black also represents power and an uncompromising demand for perfection. Not surprisingly, you tend to set challenging goals for yourself and do whatever it takes to achieve them — your strength of character is second to none. This unfaltering determination, along with your natural elegance, impresses people. But keep in mind that your personality might be intimidating to some. Try to temper your demanding side with a little softness — trust us, it won’t kill you. Overall, though, black is the color of professionalism and achievement, which means it’s clearly the color for you
