I’m curious what kinds of cache you prefer searching for…and why. 🙂

      Oconto...the birthplace of western civilization:)

Personally I like the harder terrain caches. Going hiking, bushwacking and doing things you know could be a little on the crazy side. If I am with the family we have to keep it on the easier and safer side of things. They are all favs if you can get a smiley. Thank you for your question.

All opinions, comments, and useless drivel I post are mine alone and do not reflect the opinions of the WGA BOD.

For me it depends on the day. Sometimes I like just an easy park and grab so more focus can be on the location. If I have more time, I like going for the harder terrain, hiking all over and getting lost. Anyway you do it, it always makes for a fabulous story at the end!

I could argue what reasons I have for liking each and every cache, but I would have to say that my favorite type of cache would be Earthcaches or puzzle caches that involve research. Both give me an opportunity to learn. Science and history have always been my favorite subjects and marrying the adventure of geocaching with learning makes the quest all the better.

My posts should in no way be considered as the views or opinions of the WGA or its Board of Directors. All posts made under my name are my personal opinions only.

My personal favorite cache type varies.  In planning a trip to a new area, I will research virtual caches and earthcaches.  Virtual and EarthCaches will take me to discover places and things I probably will not find closer to home.  In planning a general day of geocaching, I will research the traditionals.
