A 16′ Old Town Penobscot is a nice boat – we had one for quite a few years. We paddled it on several week-long jaunts to Ely, MN, Ontario, and da U.P. I sold it only to upgrade to a kevlar canoe, which is much nicer to portage! Big weight difference between kevlar and Royalex.
Somebody will be very happy with this canoe.
