Just an easy question: Are church cemeteries private property?

      Church cemeteries are usually
Private property – open to the public.

Private or family cemeteries are usually
Private property – closed to the public

Someone I know wanted to use the info off a gravestone for a multi. The family found out and said he couldn’t use it because it was private. I don’t know if it was a family, church, or public cemetery, but it is interesting that the family felt looking at the gravestone wasn’t allowed.

Some people get upset at others simply taking pics of a headstone/ graveyard. It’s sacred ground to them. Me, I love poking around cemetaries, and hope to someday have strangers visiting me

After that release of information … I wouldn’t do anything dangerous with a film canister in your pocket!

This thread has gone full circle- birth, life, death.

I like your tombstone, Jeff. Really clever, and appropriate, at least for the present. What about when you are 85 and in a nursing home?

          Ha! That’s perfect!
