Besides the DeLorme, are there any on-going geocaching challenges in Wisconsin?
06/10/2009 at 1:37 pm #1909441There are several “challenge” series in the state, but are you looking for some sort of state/geography challenge specifically?
On the Left Side of the Road...06/10/2009 at 1:38 pm #1909442Here is a book mark of them from ThePharmGirl

06/10/2009 at 1:39 pm #1909443That’s not a complete list either.
On the Left Side of the Road...06/10/2009 at 1:47 pm #1909444There is a recent thread abut this somewhere…..
06/10/2009 at 1:48 pm #1909445We just completed the epic GCXPZR last weekend. 😆 😀
While we were at it, the Blondie Bloodhoud had has grab a couple of counties for GC15WT3 “Badger State Challenge – 72 Counties” And, I know there are a couple other types of “challenges” out there.
Marc’s WSQ 900 series has been a fun one to work on. I think somewhere there is a bookmark on these or a compilation in a forum post.
The fun part of doing the GCXPZR is getting to see and experience all the different parts of the state.
One of our runs was 1,000 miles for 21 pages that was fantastic!

GCXPZR Wisconsin DeLorme ChallengeOn the Left Side of the Road...06/10/2009 at 2:32 pm #1909447There is also the Wisconsin NFL Challenge (GC1PDTF).
06/11/2009 at 4:14 am #1909448I see one missing on the list and in my opinion it is a harder challenge than the Badger State or the Delorme. I cant offer an opinion on some of the other challenges listed here as I have not done them, but against the two I have completed I view the hardest challenge to be:
GC1GVN6 The “Cheesy” Well Rounded Cacher
I will decide to chase after some other challenge after I complete this one so I am appreciative of the list. But I admit I like the big challenges so this is the one I want to complete first
06/24/2009 at 1:27 pm #1909449Thanks to all – this is exactly what I needed!
Cachew06/29/2009 at 12:42 am #1909450I submitted another today …………
07/10/2009 at 1:48 pm #1909451I submitted a Challenge involving caching every day of the year. In other words, finding at least one cache on all 365(6) days.
Because the verification process would require a Premium membership, and possibly GSAK ownership, it would not go thru.
But, the idea is still a good one.
I wonder if anyone is close to being a complete cacher? I have around 355 days. (You can see the chart on my profile page).

Interesting… There is already a challenge cache published identical to this. It’s one of King Boreas’ challenges: GC1AG09 – A Cache A Day … for 365 Days?
Perhaps another case of past precedence is not set by already approved caches.. or maybe he (assuming Dave rejected you) just doesn’t want to publish another duplicate challenge cache idea..
Interesting to note that the cache mentioned above has one logged find.
07/10/2009 at 3:17 pm #1909453King B’s challenge is for 365 consecutive days of caching.
I wanted caching anytime, but finding a cache on each day of the calendar year.
07/10/2009 at 3:25 pm #1909454Oh… you didn’t explain that very well or I read it wrong…
I see..
What about leap years? 😛
