How do you go about changing cache ownership? I have a series of puzzle caches set with a fellow geocacher (Team Cabana), and we want to list them all under MY name for ease of owner maintenance etc. ( Happy Camper Series… half the caches are his) I know there is something like “adopt a cache” but not sure if this would apply for these, or how to go about doing it? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. 😕
I just found that out… The wording on that page made it sound like you could go either way. I followed the instructions, and typed in the cache code, the page indicated “I have not been asked to adopt this cache” So I’m assuming if the cache owner types his own cache code in, the page will “know” he is the owner, and will take him to another page to transfer ownership to me?
