11/15/2009 at 12:28 am #1916827Forty one actually. 😉
11/15/2009 at 12:49 am #1916828Marc forgot the Virtual 🙂
11/15/2009 at 1:51 am #1916829WTG, -cheeto-, but I’ll take my 4 finds today while caching with my son and new grandson. But numbers runs are awesome, too! 😉
By the way…who was driving? ❓

Not me. That was the best part.
11/15/2009 at 4:05 am #1916831Way to go. I gotta find a partner to try a 30, 40, or 50 run some time. More for the experience of doing it than the numbers. I’ve come close to 20 in a day but have never attempted anything more. Not sure I’m ready for a 24 hour 200+ yet though.

I don’t think I’d ever be ready for that type of experience. 😯
This group of 4 had a pretty fun day. I was back in my house before dark and we left at 7am.
The best part was getting to cache in Stevens Point for the first time. I really enjoyed the caches put out by those we found. The Bandits do a great job of picking spots for caches and it seems we did a few of theirs.
It definitely gave me an appreciation for Stevens Point I had not had before.
Sure there were the caches I didn’t remember to well but that happens even on the days I go out and find 10 or 15. But for the most part it was a memorable trip.
Now if we could only have found “Dad”.
11/15/2009 at 7:11 pm #1916833Congrats, my friend, for a little change of pace and a great numbers day, and likely a good lunch along the way? Nothing ventured…. 😉
11/15/2009 at 7:19 pm #1916834Caching with old friends. Caching with new friends. Great lunches.= Priceless
11/15/2009 at 11:50 pm #1916835I do have to say one thing about Stevens Point, they need more roundabouts.
11/16/2009 at 1:02 am #1916836The question is, did this tour have more or less flatulence than the 200+ tour…

Ha, ha, ha….there’s certainly enough beer and polish sausage in Point for that 😆
Oconto...the birthplace of western civilization:)
11/16/2009 at 12:44 pm #1916838LOL at Bartrod’s comment, the blue bullets are good for that!
But really, congratulations. Always fun to mix it up once in a while.
11/16/2009 at 7:21 pm #1916839I’ve only gotten 21 in a day and that was spread out over a 75 mile area in a 12 hour period.
I know I’m capable of a solo 30+ run if I plan it right, but I’ve never really been into a numbers run.
I enjoy taking my time and just looking at what’s around me and taking in the view. Sure I grab and go once in a while, but I do like to linger around after finding a cache before moving to the next one unless time is of the essence such as impending darkness.
