We’re thinking of going to the Chicago geocaching picnic on June 30. Any other cheeseheads planning to go?

We are doing a whirlwind trip out to PA for Arn’s parent’s 50th anniversary that weekend; leave Sat AM, party Sat evening, head back Sun AM. If we hit chicago at the right time on the way back, we’re going to drop in at the picnic.

Wow, I just re-read your post and it dawned on me how far you’re driving in two days. Good luck!

Trip went well, and we did indeed make it to the picnic. Left PA at 7AM and hit Busse Woods at 3PM. Got to see some old friends and put faces to some new ones. Little CacheCalf (Eryn) hunted one cache for us so we could log the picnic, then headed home to unpack and cool off. The anniversary party went well, saw many of Arn’s cousins she hadn’t seen since we moved away from PA 20 years ago.

    …AND…

I’d like to thank you guys for coming down and bringing the fams. I hope I can make it up to the Wisconsin one in August – but that’s a difficult time of the year with school starting.
