Wissota State Park is nice and currently has a few sites available for 6/1-6/3.
Msea-
Yeah, sorry about that. Needed saying, but sorry you had to see it. I’m not seeing red anymore… 😯
It was very well stated! I can’t even begin to imagine the amount of planning that goes into this. The only thing I have to complain about is we only have 2-1/2 days and I don’t know where to start once we get down there!
This was fun. We got kind of, well, totally rained out. But thanks for putting it together.
I think I may have said this last year. Everything is so clean down there. There are areas up here (Duluth) that sadly there is so much litter. We noticed and had to pick up very little in areas that would have been trashed here. Nice to see.

One other thought. If my above has come across as personal at anyone, it was not. As I enumerated, I have been catching fire from all directions. There have been over 1500 people registered, and even assuming 5% have found something to gripe about, well, you do the math.
Again, the above was not directed at anyone in particular. It was a general catharsis. I stand by my observations, but it is not targeting anyone in particular, but represents many who have drawn fire.
Zuma, thanks. As I have told you, it has meant a lot.
I haven’t said thanks to too many people in the past, and I appreciate the reminder. Thanks to all of the hiders in this and last year’s event. ToyBoy and I have really appreciated the few finds we did. We are never able to complete the series, but it is so nice to have some more added all the time. I have fun just trying to keep up with adding news ones to my GPS unit. And Kent, to you and any other coordinators….a great big THANKS!!!.
