“I’m lost. Can you honk the horn on the van so I can find my way out?” CLassis. My wife wouldn’t have bought it either.

11/09/2011 at 10:45 pm #1954426Way to go Ed. You’ve not only found a fun night cache and reached another milestone, but you’ve now found all of The Old Man Returns caches! I hope your spousal unit eventually gave you a ride home after that one. 😉
11/10/2011 at 1:07 am #1954427Another unique milestone and another crazy CodeJunkie caching adventure! Glad it all worked out 😆
11/10/2011 at 8:00 pm #1954428Congratulations on another great milestone, Ed. Bet you were wishing though that something nasty jumped out of the night at you so you could test your self-defense skills…maybe on the next one 😀

11/12/2011 at 7:19 pm #1954430Congrats CJ on your smileys,But I will say I was going through your solved mystery bookmark and I noticed none of my caches are in that bookmark. 😥
11/13/2011 at 2:50 pm #1954431Nice going Ed. Sound like it was quite the adventurous milestone. Next time, put more detail in your log!!!
11/14/2011 at 1:41 am #1954432Thanks to everyone that has contributed to this thread. This was an awesome milestone weekend for me. As Pete noted, not only did I hit 1400 on Sunday night but I celebrated a special night with my girls the night prior. My 2 girls and I all received our black belts in karate. This required 3 years of dedication and hard work and both I and my wife are extremely proud of them. All 3 of us have raised the bar and will be spending the next 18 – 24 months towards the next level.
Top that milestone with a great hike in the woods for a caching milestone and you have a great weekend. I sure hope to meet this new placer on the trail someday. This was a great cache and I can think of a couple of other caches that he may be interested in attempting that are also great walks in the outdoors.
Footnote – To keep Smashing Ground happy I have added 2 of his caches to my “solved / unfound” bookmark list.
