I know we enjoyed the quest, and are glad that it got us out to the Western Wisconsin Lunch Bunch event. It was nice meeting other cachers there. Odd that we had to travel close to 200miles to meet Team LightningBugs, who live less than 50miles from us
Bunny, amazed that you travelled so far to get in your event for this quest. Are you going to tell us about the game they were starting?
Told you to hang in there Pharmteam you just squeaked in there.

Lostby7, sorry that you weren’t able to finish this game

I for one hope to see more of these types of games, even without coins for prizes.

Yup I will. Watching the game from a distance to see how they are doing it. It’s called HOt Potato and quite the run around. Want to try something here like that but be able to give creadit for the finds. More info as it evolves.

You can watch it via their Hot Potato Bug using this TB # 539026. Its how they are tracking the game and points and man… it sounds complicated, but I am going to ask how they did it and modify it for up here!! Will psot something at the begining of the new year to see if there is anyone else who want to help, etc!

Thanks. I was happy to meet some of you up here in our turf and also happy that I could join the quest too. It was quite the challenge to be able to finish it up here (I had already done most of the caches that qualified). Thanks to bnb and Lightning Bugs for your help. It made me span out of my usual caching range, not as far as Bunny tho. Congrats to you other finishers too

Thanks for the props. I kinda lost interest when I was beat out on two FTF’s. Those are very hard to get in my area. It was a hoot while playing though. Next time I hope I hear about it right away so I can be one of the first to complete.
It was nice to see Pharmteam just squeek under the wire on this one though.

I put out 2 caches up here in Two Rivers that sat for over a week, til someone finally got them. Heck, I drove my 600 miles for my event {What an idiot I am … sheesh..but of course Digital_Dan was jsut as nutz for going with LOL}… you coulda come up to visit the “Home of the Ice Cream Sundae”, stop by and say “HI” and get 2 FTF’s

They’ll have more of these adventures, I am sure. I’m keeping my eyes open!!

LOL. Caches in this area last about 2-3 hours before getting found. We have some very motivated finders here.

It was great to share the hunt for pirates treasure with all you Wisconsinites! I sure do hope more games like this come up.

Saturday morning while on the way to the Kenosha breakfast event, I got a phone call. Major Brat on the line telling me that PharmTeam had already been there and gone back to the hotel to log it – but they were having trouble with the puzzle! I can imagine how difficult it would be to try to focus on solving it when there are only 4 coins left! So I called them. Turns out they had the right idea, but were just not reading the table quite right. I helped them get straightened out (though one of the words I gave them was wrong – ooops), and they made it – whoo hoo! I was so nervous for them, but glad I could help.

Woohoo! Way to go! It’s great that you guys participated in this and did so well. It sounds like it was fun!

As a side note, I’m glad Pharmteam made it. I feel like I helped out a little since my first cache hide was their FTF for the Coin Quest! (Not planned, but glad they got it!)
