I will not be completing the final 3-4 squares in the puzzle…If some one wants to send me a pic of the completed map though, I’d love to try and solve the puzzle….I don’t mind waiting until the game is over (so that no one can claim any improprieties took place).
I just love puzzles and would like to take a crack at this one. After Lateral thinking this one should prove to be a snap.Lostby7 at hotmail dotcom

this was a fun game.
bunny, You will have to let us know what the IA game is all about, if it is something that those of us in WI can play as well, let us know.
Also, if you see this today… there is an event Saturday in central Indiana.

Also a thursday Pizza Meet/greet in central IL. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=d3efea73-2aed-4c26-8555-2a5cbbacd6b9

ACK! I just went to check the status of the game and the coin quest server is down! People must be pulling out their hair!!! Looks like Cach-U-Nuts is trying to keep people current through emails. Yikes!

* * * * * * * * * *12/03/2005 at 8:23 pm #1741030We are going to be sitting here watching our position drop as we wait for the event. Our current obligations don’t allow for 200mile+ trips on weekday nights. Game was fun in that it required searching for different categories of caches that might have been bypassed otherwise.
12/03/2005 at 10:09 pm #1741031Wish I had started this earlier.
This is a fun activity with some goals in mind.
Thanks for pointing this one out Team Lightning bugs – next time I might start on time.12/04/2005 at 12:36 am #1741032I’m not exactly thrilled with the extended trip I need to take, but chances are that I amy NOT be able to make the breakfast, sooooooo…. here I go on a day trip, but will get some caches in on the way. Should be interesting getting home at 0200 and having to work that day. You’ll get you coin Pharmteam.. I have faith in ya!!

That’s what I loved about it (besides being a coin freak). It made me stretch a little out of my caching comfort zone to complete all the requirements. It also made me get that cache placed that I had been thinking about for so long.

* * * * * * * * * *12/07/2005 at 4:25 pm #1741034Hey FuFu……Did you make it to the event OK?
12/07/2005 at 4:46 pm #1741035Yes I did, THANX!! Man.. what a day yesterday. Was up at 0430(am) to leave for Menomonee Falls to get a moring full of caches with Digital_Dan, my life saver and driver. LOL Got in 19 caches in the area, froze to death, then got back to DD’s house, (His wife thinks we are insane) thawed out and left for Iowa at 1500(3p). Got to Davenport at 1815(615p), ate, then the event at 1900. Stuck around there til 2030, swapped coin #’s with the coolest group of Iowa/Illinois cachers. You should have seen them when they heard that the coinquest was the reason I was there. NO caches in Iowa?? Nope. Just the event! Also learned of a pretty neat game they are playing using caching. Something I want to try up here for some added fun and caches claims.
We got back to Waukesha at 0015 this morning, but I didn’t attempt the next 1.5 hr drive home and just stayed with the Digital family LOL. Got home here in Two Rivers at 0930…. now I gotta go to work at noon. Basically up for almost 24hrs… it was WORTH IT!! I’d do it again! Thank you for mentioning this game!!! {{{HUGGLES}}}
Just logged my final cache on CoinQuest and I DID IT!! Dan was happy to go with too… he got to claim another state and swapped a WI coin for an Iowa coin!!

* * * * * * * * * *12/07/2005 at 10:14 pm #1741040Congratulations to TeamLightningBugs, Not So Lost Puppies, Yuppers and Cache_Boppin_Bunny!!
Think you may be right about the Saturday event being too late for us to get a coin. Looks like the best we can do is make it to the top of the list of teams waiting for an event cache.
12/08/2005 at 6:04 pm #174104122 left.
Most all of those with 15 are waiting for an event.
you could try to get to this one tonight http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=d3efea73-2aed-4c26-8555-2a5c bbacd6b9
Not many events before the 10th, and on the 10th most are not morning events, so if you get to the breakfast and can get on a computer you have a chance yet.
Many are lamenting the lack of an event until the 10th
There is also a large group at 14 that must be waiting for an event and waiting for a placment to be approved.
