When entering your own tracking bugs into the site, it asks you “is this trackable collectible? check yes or no”. What do they mean by this. I own it, and I dont want someone else to keep it permanently, so would that mean I check NO? I’m assuming collectible means is the finder allowed to keep it? or am I way off on this? ❓
I agree, the verbiage is confusing at best.
best way to figure out the whole collectible thing is to review the posts in the GC forums.
My understanding is that if it is collectible, only the owner can add this to their collection. that way it is not on their inventory list but on a collectible list. Not a huge thing if you only have a few coins/bugs but if you have tens to hundreds of them, to have them listed on your inventory every time you log a cache can be a bit much.

So basically a “collectible” coin is one that is activated, but not circulated. Am I getting that right?
