my wife was just saying she wants a gpsr of her own. maybe she would like my legend? I would be willing to give it to her….. oh but then I would need a new one hmmmmmm. the sacrifices one must make in a happy marriage[ ]

Several times I have driven many miles only to find what appeared to be a road on my GPSr ended up being a stream or river.

Maybe a color unit would help me avoid that problem.

Does anyone understand Garmin’s Mapsource “Unlocking” deal? I would really hate to buy a $100 disc only to pay $75.00 per update. I don’t know if I am reading into that wrong or what.

This appears to be a nice unit though.

if you buy the mapsource metro guide usa or topo usa, there is no unlocking. only some of there products have to be unlocked.
