How many people here have been awarded this unique opportunity and souvenir event? I got my notice yesterday that I received one.

I am compiling a list of people who got them, especially in NE WI so we don’t overlap or coordinate. I started a new Forum on here in NE WI.

I received notification of one this week…too soon to decide on any potential dates.

I am not a host, but I hope to attend an event or two.  Can they be any kind of event you want, or do they have specific requirements?

In NW Wisconsin there are at least 3 awards already.  Myself, Comkelp and Suntse.  In central WI, BigJim has one.

That’s correct. That first eligible date is Big Blue Switch Day, marking the true start to 20th anniversary celebrations. You can host anytime between May 2 and the end of the year.

HQ set specific guidelines for Community Celebration Events. But really the biggest differences are the date restrictions and a requirement that each event be at least two hours. Otherwise it’s pretty much up to the host what to do.

I have one in the Madison area, and I know MTCLMBR got one in March as well.

I to was awarded one in NW Wisconsin.  Haven’t decided what to do with it.  I believe mine was awarded in February.

I was awarded one also.  I am contemplating using our Meet Me At The Lake event as mine.

I know I posted on FB, but I’ll post here that I’ve been awarded one of these.  With the extended deadline, this should give us a little more time to consider what we want to do.
