Mark, can you do Kenosha? I see Racine is already done. I’ll mark you down for Kenosha. If this doesnt work out, let me know. Thanks!

Thanks Renee,
Yes, I could use a little more help. I’ll put you down for Walworth County. Let me know if that’s a problem or if you want an alternative county.
Thanks!

Sheboygan is done.
Will email you the Sheboygan.loc file.Note that Batavia is a bit screwy … Cty A and School Dr. are both east-west roads about a half mile apart, so I plotted a spot half way between them on the main north-south road (Hwy 28).

I’m a garmin / mapsource user to; gpsbabel threw me at first; here’s what you do.
(a) Make sure the software you are opening is “gpsbabelfront.exe” NOT “gpsbabel.exe”.
(b) Select Input FORMAT of “Garmin Mapsource”, do this first before trying to pick your file.
(c)Then browse to your Input File, making sure you’ve selected “File Type” of “All Files *.*”.
(d) Select Output FORMAT of “Geocaching.com .loc”, again do this before selecting the Output File name.
(e) Now, browse to where you want the Output File and name the file; making sure YOU type the .loc file extension, since it doesn’t seem to assume it.
(f) Now hit [Process]
You should then get a “Command executed successfully.” in the Results box.
12/20/2004 at 7:31 pm #1740161Okay, so I have the waypoints for Rck County finished, but am fumbling through trying to convert them. I used Magellan’s Mapsend to gather the ways…can someone with a functioning brain tell me how to convert them so I can send them to Brian?

IF YOU WANT … Send the file you have to me ( infox -at- nconnect -dot- net ) … I will attempt to convert and send them on to Brian, using GPS Babel (http://gpsbabel.sourceforge.net/)
