I wasn’t sure what forum to post this in..
While reviewing one of our cache listings, I found a new Bookmark on the page:
“Wheelchair accessable caches in Wisconsin by Zuma!”
the link: http://www.geocaching.com/bookmarks/view.aspx?guid=261fe11c-dba9-4c18-a4b5-b8378ce9077dShould I have posted this in “Milestones, Congratulations and other Pats on the Back” to acknowledge this contribution?
How about “General,” as it is of general interest for all cachers?
Or “Recommended Caches,” since that is the purpose of a Bookmark list?
How about the “Suggestion Box?” I do want to suggest we all provide Zuma! with the names of ourown caches that belong here.
There are a couple of reasons to put this post in the “Help” forum. The greater of these is to learn how to imbed a link in a title.
*** ANY WAY ***
Big kudos go to Zuma! for this wonderful contribution.

04/20/2006 at 2:45 am #1738970Thanks TATB.
I have not done much with the list for the past month or so, cuz I was stymied by the fact that it reached 100 caches, and that was (is) the limit for caches on a list.
When they increase the max to 500, I have a bunch more to add. Maybe they have already, I dont know.
I am saving the emails suggesting w/c caches, and when they allow more than 100, I will add them.
The list is made with w/c users in mind that have some upper body mobility, that can go short distances on hard level turf and that can reach a little bit, either with a reacher or with their limited mobility. There are not many caches out there that are on sidewalks, and at the right level for someone with very limited upper body mobility.
I work in an ICU now, but used to do rehab nursing, hence my interest.

Keep On Cachin In The Free World.04/20/2006 at 2:51 am #1738971I love this list! I’ve utilized it in the past in determining accessible caches for Mom (she’s not in a wheelchair, but has limited mobility some days). Not all 1 star terrain caches are accessible. And some accessible caches are sorta, well, lame. It’s nice to have a bookmark like this available!
I should go back through Mom’s finds (and that’s a bunch now that she’s passed her 200th milestone!) and see if there’s any we can contribute to your bookmark!
