Congratulations to Dave on this extraordinary accomplishment in geocaching.

On August 15th up in Door county, Sagasu logged his 200th CONSECUTIVE day logging a found cache.

I cannot even imagine keeping a streak like that alive.

Take a break now would ya!! 🙂

Wow ! I’m not sure that I’ve even got 200 days in the field.

Definitely an accomplishment to be honored.

    Sagasu, your integrity is true.

    Congratulations!

200 straight days of caching! I am not sure if I have cached that many days total. What a sreak to have. Congratulations again and hope to see you make 300 days.

Wow….200 straight days….that is absolutely amazing. I tried to get a streak going this spring, and learned just how tough it can be. Wow…200 days, that is awesome.

Wow, Dave! That is an incredible accomplishment! We go out as often as we can and we have only cached 176 days total! What a tremendous milestone. CONGRATULATIONS!

Let’s be sure to acknowledge the rest of “Team Sagasu” for their part in keeping this streak alive.

Congratulations to Dan and Jackie too.

For the field support and mental support 😀

I thought you were going to take a break….

I see Sagasu has been celebrating by not only keeping it going but also logging 24 more finds on the 18th in the rain.

Thanks to the other’s for recognizing Dave’s better 2/3’s 🙂 I have read the stories and know how important and supportive they have been.

Okay, since you won’t rest you now have to hit 365. I better start hiding some regular local one’s so you don’t have to solve any s|s puzzles…

Easy cheesy…. if it weren’t for some of those s|s puzzles, Dave would have had to trek up to Rock Island a lot sooner to keep his streak alive. Keeping the streak alive… the double entendre on that one is just killing me!

It’s been a privilege, honor, and genuine pleasure to get to know you over the past 6 months as we have ventured out in the wee hours to cache and share stories in the field.

So many adventures shared with the memorable ones having nothing to do with the final finds. Just as Robert M. Pirsig said in “Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, ‘It’s not the thing itself but the getting there that is the adventure’. I am not imagining that the “getting there” for you has been the thing and being part of that is something i will always cherish.

Now, for pete’s sake (not that Pete) take a break and put some time into some other things that also require a little Zen and a little maintenance. I have found in you a true compadré and I know, firsthand, the toll this sport can have on those who really get into it. You’ve set a high mark and one that you can be proud of old man, so take some shelter, grab your tackle, find your bait box and go play hooky from this madness for a few days, it will do you good!

Congrats Dave and the rest of your team. We have been honored to have owned the caches that were logged for #100 and #200. How about #300 now? Having done 100 in a row I know that it gets tougher as it goes along and you thin out the caches in your home territory. Keep on caching!
