Several fun designs were submitted for consideration and the clear winner was the “attribute design” by BakRdz, who wins a free t-shirt for his efforts.

The store now shows the shirts and prices, but colors are approximate, as we work with our printers on the exact shade of chocolate brown. Buy one, buy three, but please stop in and check it out!

      Congratulations!

But hurry as if this is correct you have very limited time…..

NOTE: All 2010 Geo-Campout shirt orders must be received no later than May 3rd, 11:59pm. We may have a few extra shirts available for purchase at the campout, but unless you place your order by May 3rd, we cannot guarantee we will have a shirt available in your size.

You can still buy one and wear it after you return from Richard ‘tick-land’ Bong recreational area. 😉

Seriously though, the WGA uses funds raised from the sales of shirts at the camp-out to help curb operating costs of the WGA. If you are planning to attend the camp-out (or know someone who is who could pick up a shirt for you) and you’re interested in owning one or just want to help out the WGA, please consider putting in an order for a shirt.

Also, don’t forget that were also selling Groundspeak merchandise this year as well! Save on shipping and order now! 😀

Thanks everyone for helping support your WGA.

Oh and congrats to BakRdz for winning the design contest. It’s a really neat design!

Yes. Add our congrats to BakRdz for a job well done. Nice looking shirt logo there.

Someone care to post a picture?

I clicked on the link to the news story, but the resolution is low. How about a better picture of the logo?

        Nevermind….

        I found one.

We are unable to attend the camp out but is there a way we can get a t-shirt. just asking. also any word on the path tags will they be ready by the camp out or later and how do we go about ordering them I did put a response that I would like 2 sets. Any help would be great

Scout, I posted in the pathtag forum that I would be glad to act as the mule and take full responsibility to mail out tags if folks couldn’t attend and I haven’t heard from the board yet about it either. Shirt shipping becomes a lot more involved, and I would be willing to help if arrangements could be made that would satisfy the board and all involved. I can;t say I’d take on the full mantle of shirt distribution, since thats a bit more involved than shipping out a few sets of pathtags, but I’ll help wherever I can to distribute these items to those WGA members who want to spread the word of our organization, but can;t attend certain events.

When anyone orders Pathtags to be produced, the vendor provides a date range of when they will be available that’s a large window of time. The campout would be right at the beginning of that date range based on our order. We’re trying to be optimistic as it would be convenient to be able to sell them at the campout but at this point that’s probably unlikely.

Watch for more posts on this subject very soon!

We’ve always handed out the t-shirt orders at the camp-out to keep expenses on the sale to a minimum. If you can arrange for someone to pick up your shirt and get it to you that would be great. I would love to offer this help myself but I’m not from the same geographic area as you are Scrappy Scout and it wouldn’t be very easy for me to get it to you. Perhaps someone else will come forward and help you out. 😀

What if I’m willing to pay for postage? Cuz there is not anyone close to me and/or unless money from North of 64 is unwanted??? I wanted a shirt last year and was told no and “The WGA doesn’t do shirts for the picnic”. So guess I’m just a 3 time loser.

May be WE need to change this….. or are they just for the SE WGA members???
Ya, there is a lot of that….. 🙄

OK, I see orders have to be in by the 3rd. If I put in for a hoodie, Am I gonna get it?
