What a lovely invitation! Well, of course I’m on call that weekend, but if I’m not needed I might be able to attend. And if I attend, I will be bringing ldybugldy with me. I’ll know more closer to the actual date.

We have been eyeing this one since it was first announced. We’ll know soon if we will be able to be there or not. It sounds great!

Since the Jamboree is a weekend thing….do you have any hotel recommendations? Might be fun just to “Trudy Camp” for a weekend.

Sounds like a lot of fun. Too bad I commited to a breakfast event in IL already.

Is that local restaurant Mama Mia’s? I grew up in Waukesha and would go there after middle school dances. Also would go there a couple times after a long day of lifeguarding at Horeb with fellow guards. Good food! And it’s right down town (if this is the right place)

Looking forward to caching around the hometown.

Nevermind. I think I read elsewhere it’s T-Rex’s pizza. Never heard of it. Hope it’s warmer next weekend than it plans to be this weekend.

Extended forecast for Saturday is looking pretty good: 25 degrees with a chance of light snow. Very good caching weather!

Even if you do not want to go out in the cold to geocache, stop in for lunch and say hello!

Let’s show Waukesha Parks, Recreation and Forestry that there are a bunch of Geocachers in this area.

Ecorangers will be dressing in layers to stay warm for this winter fun-filled event. Wouldn’t miss it for the world. Tami

That will not be cold weather.
Me and my 9 yr old were out in the cold saturday afternoon hiding a couple new caches and we we’re very close to the lake. You walk around, you get warm. We even came upon a older lady (I’m guessing 60+) going for a walk, which surprised us … she couldn’t find the regular trail (not sure why SHE was bushwhacking), so we walked her back to the main trail.

P.S. – We stopped first and picked up some cross country skis, and just had to hide some new caches while in the area. Anybody ever looking for an excellent deal, email me, as we’ve found a totally great and responable “word of mouth only” place.

I’m guessing you’re referring to Ski Land Sporting Goods in Grafton. Very muchy a mom & pop place.

Yup. Gave me that very Old World feeling, plus $100 less for my daugter’s skis than elsewhere, plus 12 cats to play with!
