I don’t know if this is the forum to post this…

One of my caches got nominated for COTM for October (first time for me) and I’m wondering if everyone who gets nominated gets to see the comments made during the nomination/votes. I know comments about the winning cache are posted, but would it be possible to email comments to the “losers” too? It would be great to see what people have to say about the cache. Thanks!

    That’s a good suggestion.
Just for clearification, not ALL comments are shown. Most are, but some might not be worth showing. Everyone can see the comments that have been approved, but not until after the voting is done.

The comments can’t be emailed, but I will see if it’s possible to put a “details” liink on the Honorable Mentions page similar to the Past Winners page. There may be a reason it wasn’t done that way to start with…

Since this thread is about COTM, I’ll ask my question here.

Why is the Monk Garden series on the current nomination for May Series of the month when it was only published a few days ago?

    Copied from the COTM rules….

A cache must have been published more than 90 days prior to being nominated for COTM.

The COTM Reviewer will catch that. I noticed it, too.

“Toads in Stone” just became eligible recently, so it can be voted on, even though it was Published mid-month.

Whoever nominated Monk can renominate it in 2 monthes.

He did catch that. I wasn’t sure.
