Where’d everybody go?
No posts in over two days!

They are all out caching!
I noticed that the recent wisconsin logs page was down to almost nothing, I was thinking that the system wasn’t up and running.
Well this “Old Ham” is getting ready to change the QTH temporarily to Nashville. I’ve got a four day business meeting and have already loaded up the GPSR with the caches in the area. Now I need the time to check some out. I have to admit to not getting out as often as I’d like to. Lots of household and family things cutting into the cache time. I guess its called payback for many weekends and evenings spent caching and neglecting things around the house. Last Saturday, much of the day was spent on motorcycle related things. Took a test ride on a new 1800 Gold Wing. Hmmm, maybe time to put mine on the block. Brian?? Make me an offer.[ ]

WaukeshaMy new status as a student has seriously cut into my caching time. I’m afraid I’ll only be logging in here a few times a week as opposed to 35 times a day
Between meetings at school and at scouts, I haven’t had time to put my feet up. Our daughter will be taking an orienteering session through the scouts. Maybe when she is done, she can teach me….
I’ve picked up a couple side jobs to help raise some money to buy Steve’s Goldwing
Whats going on here. Two days without a post, I figured that I had to fix that. I don’t understand it, It seems to be a wonderful time of year to be out caching, I did 3 today (I know that doesn’t sound like much compared to little otters 30 a day ). I even think I saw an Otter while on a cache today, Yes the four legged kind.

I’ve been on the mutt mode til now because I was camping out in my van at Marshfield hospital this past week.. my father just had quad-bypass and is doing well. I had to come back home because I caught a cold and wouldn’t wish to pass it on to my dad.. those new caches I’ve put up were from last week before all this hit the fan. So don’t think I was out having fun (smiles).. it was a real nightmare at times. I was so tempted to do that Marshfield webcam cache.. but killing two birds with one stone sounded pretty sic to me (is teasing).. oh.. I have a great joke to tell about my playing Nurse to my father.. he was just out of surgery and started to cough so I was helping him hold his pillow on his chest.. he kept saying “it hurts it hurts” and I kept saying “I know it hurts.. I know it hurts” and I finally figured out he was saying “Nurse.. nurse” as in needing more help.. it wasn’t funny at the time but now I can look back and think of what others passing by must have thought.. me pushing a pillow over my father and I looking like I’m suffercating him or something .. he’s laughing about it now too.. but not then.. geez.. guess otters aren’t good at hearing are they??
