10/18/2011 at 12:24 pm #1951422More like a tree falling on a mime in the woods……

‘Lifted’ this from Mr. Yuck’s profile page. Under the image is the following: “Not a fan of lame smartphone logs”

I actually had a blank log on one of my catches. But I think he edited it later to include content. It just simply came in blank initially on my email.
10/29/2011 at 12:23 am #1951425I just experienced a first on a log of one of my hides. The finder implied that the hint for that cache ruined the thrill of the hunt. Pardon me, but aren’t they optional and SCRAMBLED at that?
10/29/2011 at 11:46 pm #1951426maybe the person finding the catch does not wish to offend some one. maybe have nothing to say . maybe the finder of some cache do not know how to express them self .maybe they are no Markk tain or Hemingway So why not settle for they found your cache or not wish to give anything away about your cache. better still its been a long hard day of geo catching
And all was well. however they let you know be happy Do you need a degree in creative writing to keep peace in the valley? some say yes some say no . Every think that someone is trying to conserve ink or better still paper so you do not have to look for the cache in 12 feet of snow . or fix it when its 110 degrees in the woods and Mr tick wants you for lunch or the cache has skeeters standing guard waiting to have you for lunch.10/30/2011 at 5:27 pm #1951427@guidetoo wrote:

Well said! Placing a cache isn’t about receiving praise from the Geocaching community, it’s about giving back.
10/30/2011 at 6:32 pm #1951428“Some times a simple thank you is better that a long winded story that says I found your cache today.” I have memories I may wish to share today but will not
cause I wish it to remain a memory for another day. that may share. So be happy with thanks for the find today.10/30/2011 at 8:06 pm #1951429@Northwoods Tom wrote:

10/30/2011 at 8:52 pm #1951430Can I have a “like” button for the last couple posts here? Honestly, we put them out for people to find and enjoy. We’re happy people can usually find them. We enjoy the stories some share, but mostly, we’re glad to see a note of thanks, something that seems to happen less and less in other parts of life. Thanks to all who have looked for our caches. Your effort makes us happy!
