What I mean is a dream/nightmare you’ve had . . . about our hobby/sport that maybe unique/fun, etc. to share with others. The one I would like to share is that I was on a classic old-time ocean liner (think Titanic). I was searching for a cache in one of the smokestacks. I think I died getting the cache. As I got to the top of the smokestack, I slipped and fell into the black abyss. End of dream. No smiley. No me. It actually was a pretty horrific fall.
Your turn.
It wasn’t really crazy, but I had one where I was part of a team, and our team was competing against other teams in a geocaching competition. It was big like the Cache Ba$h, but it was competitive, and therefore, you had to be quick. Of course, I was fumbling opening bags, the pen wouldn’t write, my team was threatening to leave me behind…oh, wait…that happens in real life! Seriously, it was a fun dream and I was wishing I could do something like it geocaching in reality.
Just last week I had a crazy geocaching dream. I was caching with my brother at a location that was a combination funeral parlor and wedding chapel. My GPS had somehow morphed into a very clumsy metal detector type device that had balky buttons on it, and was causing all sorts of caching angst. I won’t even try to describe the bizare characters in the dream.
Feel free to analyze my dream for me!
Didn’t we have a discussion like this once? I think it involved a “King” and some other unmentionable characters.
