I’ve been playing with GSAK and the FindStatGen3 macro for a little bit now and I’ve come accross a puzzling issue.
Over the weekend I did some caches up in Medford (Taylor County), but when I run the macro to generate the stats for my profile, it keeps shading Rusk County instead of Taylor.
I’ve done a little digging, looking at the macro code as well as the state map data file FindStatGenMapWisconsin.dat and I see that the “fill point” for Rusk and Taylor are transposed. I’ve updated the data file locally and rerun the macro several times but I’m not seeing any different results. Has anyone ran accross this before and have any ideas on how to resolve this?
I’m guessing that the map data may be cached in the database some place? The map file version is V0.3 2-19-09 which as far as I can tell is the most up to date.
Thank you,
Brian
I can’t answer your specific question but do recommend going to the gsak forums and asking your question there. It would probally get a lot faster response and it might have even been answered there all ready.
Hmm.. that may explain a problem I noticed with Findstat 4.0, was playing with different colors today and I couldn’t get it to shade in Rusk county. Don’t think it shaded Taylor, but I’ll have to take a look.
You need to contact the author of this macro. This person is very active and I am sure you will get a “revised” version within a day.
