Is it possible to create an offroad route? I have been trying to create a route for the Alameda Creek bike trail in Fremont, Ca and cannot figure out how to start out on the bike path ghing in the bay. Anyone have any ideas on how one would do this, I do have google earth but it wants to start me in Coyote Hills Regional Park. For reference

Thanks
Nate
Are you trying to create a list of “caches along a route”? One way to do it is with the GSAK polygon/line drawing tool. It’s under the Tools menu. You’ll have to manually trace the trail and then create the GPX file to upload to GS. I think you can use the route I created… http://www.geocaching.com/my/userrouteedit.aspx?rguid=68275982-078b-4c37-aef8-44af016198db
After you have the route, you need to create the PQ. Here’s the map preview that I came up with:

I hope that’s what you were looking for.
Edited to add: I just followed the Alameda Creek assuming the trail follows the creek.
That is EXACTLY what I was trying to accomplish, Thank you so much!
