I can’t think of any other legal use of an Altoids tin other than as a cache container but…
Win a Prize?
“legal” being the key word there….

When I have an empty tin it at times gets used for aircraft parts, car parts, ink pens, electronic devices, medical equipment, and other wide assortment of items.
Ok, I bet you want to know how…

You could…
Make a battery pack for your iPod
Make a set of mini-speakers
Poke some holes through for a mini cheese grater.
A friend of mine has a digital camera that’s small enough to fit inside.
I paint them and make little books that fit inside. I also put plaster of paris in two and smooshed our grandson’s little feet into that. Now we have permanant little foot print all decorated up and sitting on a shelf.

The crafty types do all sorts of cool things with containers of any kind. Google altered Altiods tins and I’ll bet you’ll get a ton of examples.
It’s Okay, I gave him his feet back when I was done with them. It was before he could walk, so he didn’t need his feet yet…. guess I am more crafty than I thought.
