It wasn’t as sinister or as sloppy as their 1,000th find, but Curly Girls scored on a swampy cache, GC1RDMW, for 1,100…and have the pictures to prove it:

Sue and I are looking forward to your adventures out to the Wild, Wild West as you grab a couple more states.Cache on Curly Girls.
05/31/2009 at 2:13 am #1908204We are very much looking forward to our next milestone as it will definitely be during our trip to the Wild, Wild West! Took me over 150 days, I think, for that last hundred caches. This next one, and hopefully the one after that will be much quicker! I have already warned my husband of the over 1400 miles that we will be putting on the rental car and the numerous caches and earthcaches we will be visiting. Get ready Honey, my GPS is loaded!
I am excited to report that on this trip, we will be visiting MINGO, the oldest active cache! We will add 7 states to the map and bring the total states cached in to 25 in just over 2 years! What a wild ride this whole geocaching thing has been! I wish I would have known about it sooner!
Thanks everybody for the congrats, looking forward to many more caches!
